No you can’t change the buttons with the Pro-Controller unless the game your playing allows it. But it does feel better using the Pro-Controller because the buttons are much bigger making it feel a bit more natural to use A as the jump button for a Mario game.

Try going in to the game menu and changing the jump button to (B) instead of (A).

Hi there,

Reassigning controls is something you do within the game, not with the controller. If that software offers control remapping as a feature, then you can, but changing controllers won't make a difference. 

I will say the Pro Controller is really comfortable and feels great in your hands. :-)
