Depends on how well you are able to hold your frame upright. I have piriformis, sciatic and lumbar spine subluxation and have no issues if my form is good. I am extremely out of shape so I stay very aware of my posture. The instruction from the iFit coach reminds you not to curl your back and this is very helpful. Good luck!

Rowing can be good for your back, depending on what is causing any back pain. If your back muscles are sore due to a posture problem, a day job that requires you to slouch, your age, a medical condition or injury, then rowing could be good for you. You are best off consulting a doctor and seeking clearance first. For more information, contact [email protected]. Thanks - ProForm
