Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, there is a magnet that you put on the treadmill in order to start it. This magnet has a string with a clip at the other end. You are supposed to clip this to your clothing. The thought is if you fall, you will pull the magnet off the treadmill which will turn the treadmill off.
