I am trying to decide whether this amp is suitable for a similar setup. I was hoping to also use the Zone 2 output on my Yamaha receiver to power up 4 sets of speakers throughout the house. I am using a Pyle switch to control each of the speakers. I am worried that this amp does not have enough power to do that. Other answers indicate that the 40 (20x2) watt rating is not actually 40 watt.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m not 100% sure if I understood correct, but if you add new components to the receiver, yes you can add additional speakers to other rooms. You would just turn the dial in front of the receiver that’s connected to your other component.
