Can it detect cell phones? null

The PMD38 does NOT detect cell phones specifically. If a phone is metal-heavy or close to the sensor → it may beep If the phone has minimal metal shielding → detection may be weak or inconsistent So in short: it detects metal, not “cell phones” as a smart device.
