You can only see the readings on the phone. It has two modes. In Visitor Mode it will take one reading and display BP and Heart Rate, but it will not record it. In the user mode it takes 3 readings with a 30 second pause between the readings, and provides the average of the three readings as well as record it in a log. This log can then be printed out for an upcoming Doctor visit or sent via email to the doctor prior to the visit.
