Yes, they can. Quell is broadly indicated for the relief of chronic pain. Quell is designed for people with a wide range of pain conditions. In multiple clinical studies, Quell provided relief from chronic pain involving feet, legs and lower back. In a published study, 81% of Quell users reported improvement in their chronic pain after 60 days of use. Everyone is different, even if they have the same underlying condition causing their pain. We can't tell you definitively whether you will get relief with Quell, but we offer a 60-day money back guarantee, so you can try it risk-free. There is no evidence to suggest that regular use of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulators causes any adverse effects beyond those listed in the adverse reactions section. The most likely adverse reaction is skin irritation. Quell is designed to be worn on the upper calf 1-2 inches below the knee. If you cannot place your Quell device at the recommended location just below the knee due to situations such as wound or skin irritation, then you may position the device at mid-calf or above the knee on the lower thigh. The device should be recalibrated at the new site before initiating therapy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have any kind of neuropathy in your legs, I would suggest you not use it. It is like a tens unit sending electrical pulses through the nerves. If you have limited feeling in your leg due to neuropathy you could make the pulses too high and possibly damage the nerves more. It is something I would talk to my diabetic doctor about and get his/her opinion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would definitely check with your physician first. As with any product, there could be an unintended consequences. Our experience has been back pain relief, but it was not immediate. It took a couple of weeks, The relief was a little better each day, leveling off at 2-3 weeks. I definitely recommend, as long as your Dr agrees.
