I have large calfs and I still find the band reaches all the way around, it has a lot of elasticity to it. That being said, here is Quell's official response: The comfortable sports band is designed to fit most legs and is adjustable. It will fit any leg from 12 inches (30.5cm) to 24 inches (61cm) in circumference. If your leg is larger than 24 inches in diameter, please call our customer care team at 1-800-204-6577 to ask for a band extender.

The electrodes are set in their flexibility, but the strap that holds the device and that covers the electrodes wraps around my calf 1.5 times. I am 5'9 and in the military so I don't have small calves, but I have average ones. So, it should work. If not, Best Buy does a 14 day return and Quell does a 60 day return.
