Yes, it's the most recent version. More specifically, it's a one year subscription. Quicken sends regular software updates, so it's simple to have the most recent version. When my subscription ran out a few weeks ago, I could have gotten an automatic renewal directly from Quicken. However, purchasing the subscription from Best Buy saved me $10.

I really cannot tell, nothing on the package tells you. Also make sure you want to buy or install it. Best Buy will not take it back after 14 days and they tell you to contact Quicken. If you can figure out who to contact in the myriad of contacts when you look for Quicken i the search bar, you will possibly get someone but you will probably end up in India or the Philippines who has a broken accent and besides being difficult to understand, haven't a clue on what they are doing. On the Quicken box it says you can return within 30 days to quicken but good luck with that. I think I am stuck with this Quicken which I do not want or need so if there is anyone out there that wants to purchase it, Make an offer, it has not been used and the box has not been opened. I made the mistake of ordering a whole computer system on line from best buy and I am not happy with there return policies.
