I didn't install anything, just entered the code in my existing installed version.

You can download and install Quicken at quicken.com/download. You can then use the instructions and activation code provided in the CD case.

It installs just like the older software. I bought another copy when I bought turbo tax and got a better price. When the time comes I will just install the new copy I just purchased.
