You can even merge older files, I went from 2007 to 2020! You may need to convert your files multiple times depending on how old the program you are using is. If you run into trouble Quicken is great at helping, they helped me via chat and had my files converted in a half hr!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Quicken website should be able to answer this question for sure, but yes use should be able to load a 2011 Quicken file with Quicken 2021. There are some requirements for older Quicken files on how far you can go back without loading intermediate older versions of Quicken programs. Just start your Quicken 2021 program and select the 2011 file. Quicken will convert the file to 2021 version.

I brought it to the Geek Squad and had to purchase Quicken 2020 because I had misplaced my Quicken 2011 programming. I was concerned I would lose all my data from Quicken 2011. When I opened Quicken 2020, which the Geek Squad loaded for me, all the data was there. If you have questions, contact Quicken customer service. Hope this helps.
