“been using quicken 2001 home/office. i am updating to a new computer. will quicken home/office 2022 allow the data from 2001 version to transfer over? will i be able to use after 1yr subscription expires like i have been with 2001 version?”

Always back up on two external drives along with the PC drive. Sometimes one gets corrupt. Quicken will transfer over & you can get help via their tech support which is great. Don't buy disc's anymore. You have to renew on line.
