I have a hairline crack on the curved part of my series 3 38mm watch. Would this case prevent water from getting into the crack? The crack is barely visible but renders the watch unable to withstand water :( null

No. It doesn’t totally enclose around the watch. It actually holds water between it and your watch. It would have protected your watch from getting the crack because it does cover all of the curves, corners and the face. It just doesn’t seal so water didn’t seep in.

It'll help, but is not advertised as water proof. I suggest looking at water proof cases if that is your primary goal.

No it only seems to protect from scratches. It’s alike a rubbery shield

Unfortunately, no. This case is not designed for waterproofing.
