• No. (No subscription required) It links up with the internet from your cell phone. However, you do need to upload the Meta app to your phone. Yes, that app is free.

• Hello Red, thank you for your question. No there is no subscription model for the Meta glasses, you can use the AI and take pictures as soon as you get them without an additional purchase.
