It is not noise canceling, but it does filter out some sounds naturally

Yes but it only works when plugged in and also the Bluetooth is wonky at time with it

The microphone is, but the sound itself isn’t due to the earpads being fabric. But you can buy custom earpads on Amazon and replace the current ones with leather type material or cooling gel and they will block out a lot of background noise and give the sound more bass.
