I am not sure what spec you will need, but this headset does pick up other voices in the same room. My husband sits beside me while gaming and I can hear his voice echo in my headset.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is used on USB connection only, with Bluetooth turned off on my PC. I imagine it would depend on how loud / close the other person is. Others always turn the T.V. on in a 15 x 20 room and my mic does not pick up the T.V. sounds, and unless very close and loud, no other voices.
