• If you’re on PC yes the usb card gives you more options/features, if you mostly play on consoles the X is identical

• Yes the X is Razer's stripped down version. It's the same with the Kraken.

• Depends. The v2 comes with the usb soundcard where as the x does not

• In my opinion, yes. The nylon wire that the V2 has will outlast the V2X. The V2 comes with the surround sound card and it’s worth it. Definitely worth paying the extra $40.
