Im an architecture student aswell and i have a desktop pc and just now purchased this laptop for on the go and yes this would be a great pc for any CAD because youre looking at your cpu with is a 9th gen processor for i7 and runs fantastic and plenty of storage for projects so this is definitely a good buy when it comes to CAD
