Is the scrolling wheel really stiff? null

Its a good amount of stiffness... You can not free wheel it what-so-ever. You can feel each click/scroll point with the rotation of wheel with confidence. Traction is great. Go to store, grab the display mouse - use it...... Compare against the other 10 to 20 mice on display at best buy.... Why I like a local store.... I purchased to 2 replace a high end Mamba Elite and pops old $10 mouse from dell.
