It’s not sticky so it won’t “stick” to anything. There’s enough surface area friction to maintain a solid position on my wooden table.

It does well on my son's 40 year old wood desk. Does not move around unless you want it to.

It is no slip but not "sticky" you could use some 3M spray if you needed to keep it in place and it will be removable or relocate-able?
