Because it’s the greatest keyboard on the market with a new option-mechanical switch which uses laser responses to send signals to the computer which is 80% faster than the average mechanical switch.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's expensive because it's worth it. I personally own the Cynosa keyboard and it works perfect for my needs. Not to mechanical and not a lot of additional functionality. My boyfriend, however, has the Huntsman version. He absolutely loves it. It has a light under each key so when you're working with changing the lighting commands it looks a lot better than mine. For example, if I add a layer to my lighting to say when I press the escape key it will turn red, a few of my other keys will turn red too. But with his, it's only controlling the light directly underneath that letter so it ends up being a lot cleaner. It's also nice and mechanical (if you like that sort of thing) and has some other added functionality. If you're looking for a simple keyboard that isn't expensive I would go with the Cynosa.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The price isn't that high, there are higher priced ones out there. It is a very reliable brand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I suppose my first response and answer to your question is, "you get what you pay for" and the cost of this keyboard is justified by the quality of the construction and the features. Most keyboards today are "mushy" and use a sort of "membrane" set up, while this keyboard actually uses springs for each individual key. Much better, longer lasting, easier to clean.
