Its THX surround sound which is different than 7.1. They sound amazing. With the rumbling affect it really sets you in the game. Plus you can download the app on your pc and fully customize your sound settings like you could on a aftermarket car stereo. Only thing is that the in game mic volume adjustment doesnt work for ps4. Otherwise theyre awesome and very comfortable. I returned these and bought the turtle beach elite 800......probly return the turtle beaches and might go back to these.
