• not sure the technical range, but it can be connected through bluetooth or by the dongle, so you can at least switch between them to figure out which would work best. It uses 2.4Ghz for the dongle and that should get you decent distance and minimal obstruction interference. Paid $45 for it.

• The range in that scenario would probably be about 10 feet before you start having instability issues. However, you could solve this by plugging the dongle into a USB extension cable and then moving it closer to the space you'll be using it from.

• It's roughly around 30 ft as most wireless mice in this type range work up to.
