weather and distance can cause problems with picture. You may need to re scan the antenna and adjust the antenna ears.

I don't understand this kind of thing, but a friend's son knows how to properly install it and now I get almost every channel I want. Have you googled the area towers for your location so you can properly direct the antenna? Paying for professional help may well be worthwhile in your situation.
