We recommend placing the antenna as high as possible, ideally near a window that faces the direction of your local broadcast towers. We also suggest trying different positions and locations for the antenna within your home, as even small adjustments—such as changing the height, angle, or placement near a window—can make a big difference in reception quality. After each adjustment, perform a new channel scan (Auto Program) through your TV’s menu to detect any additional channels. Each antenna setup is unique and the signal strength inside your home is the most important factor on whether any antenna can receive a signal or not. If you’re only receiving 8–10 channels but should be getting 35–40, check your local tower locations at the FCC’s website: https://www.fcc.gov/media/engineering/dtvmaps.
