A:AnswerThe camera is mounted on top of the license plate. So it should not matter if the wiring is done to bypass any obstruction. In our case, the USB cable to the monitor was short, but they added another chord with a coupler where the monitor was placed at the left corner on the dashboard, so that it was not an obstruction. After all, you need to see that only when you are backing up. The image shows up when you shift the gears to "reverse"! Rest of the time- it stays off
