Smith you take doorbell down and take out one battery and put the other charge battery in it last approximately two months depending how many people come to the door it could last up to three months I keep one charge to replace and doorbell ringer it’s very easy to replace the battery it will tell you on your phone when you need to replace it I hope this will help you out

Bear in mind, this is only, specifically, for the Arlo Wireless Video Doorbell, which is a different model than the Arlo Video Doorbell (which was the original Arlo video doorbell model), or the Arlo Wired Video Doorbell. The Arlo Wireless Video Doorbell is a thicker unit, as it has to accommodate this battery. The battery clips into a compartment on the back of the front part of the unit. Once it is clipped in, then you clip the front part of the unit into the wall mount plate. The battery is 4.2 volts and has a capacity of 6500 mAh.
