Can you change the DPI on the mouse? null

Yes. It has 5 settings ranging from 800 to 7,200 DPI. Changes can be made easily and on the fly utilizing the first button just below the scroll wheel. It has made the use of my CAD program superb.

Yes. I believe it is the top middle button and you just cycle through the different colors, (Each color is a different cursor speed) until you find the speed that's right for you.
