Hi there! Thanks for your questions. Handwriting in exported PDFs won't be searchable on other platforms. However, all internal hyperlinks within the PDF planner will be preserved in the exported file. If you need more information about our features, feel free to do so here: https://support.remarkable.com/s/

The device's built-in handwriting conversion feature does not embed searchable text into the exported PDF. To make your handwritten notes searchable, you can use third-party OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software, such as the free PDF24 program, to process the exported PDF and enable text searchability. Regarding internal hyperlinks within your PDF planner, their preservation upon export depends on how the PDF was created and annotated. If the original PDF contains embedded hyperlinks, and you annotate it without altering the structure, the links are typically preserved in the exported file. However, if you create hyperlinks using the reMarkable's tools or if the PDF's structure is modified during annotation, the links may not function correctly after export. It's advisable to test the exported PDF on your target platform to ensure all hyperlinks operate as intended. Here's a video I recommend: https://youtu.be/Gq5k8LawuCI
