can you use a RWF water filter in a GE refrigerator in place of a MWF filter null

I have been using RWF 1060 TIER 1 filters in GE for more than 8 years without any problems. I am now trying to find Tier 1 RWF 1060P filters. The P indicates additional ANSI NSF 53 & 42 Certification for Lead.
