A:AnswerIs a couple different things that you can try one as you could try to format the system and start from scratch and that may help depending on if you're running just the regular Sega Genesis program or if you're doing something else like retroarch on it you may have the option of doing mapping with the controller. is another option that you can try out but it sounds like you're running just the regular program and if that is the case the best advice I can think of would be to do a system reset go to the settings and look for format or reset system I'm not sure which one it says but I would say try that out and it would still happens if it's not too late I might return the controller cuz the controller may be faulty and if it's doing it on both controllers and you reset everything and it's still happening then your system may be faulty. I hope that helps good luck
A:AnswerNo, this version has a USB connector and is co-branded for the Sega Genesis Mini. RetroBit does make a different version of this controller with the original 9-pin Sega/Atari connector but I don't think Best Buy carries it.
