• Yes. But you have to calibrate the lines. I went to a parking lot and used the painted lines as a guide.

• The hardwire kit that comes with the product includes wires to connect to your car's reverse light wires. They have to be installed. After connecting the wires, when you put your car in reverse, the parking assist lines will appear.
