How does it record 4K(8MP) with only a 5MP(2K) sensor?? null

Hello! The unit is able to do this due to bandwidth information. The more cameras enabled, the lower the resolution where the lowest it can go is 1080p.

Though the video is encoded in 4k and does take up 4k spaces, I don't think it's quite that quality. Sadly this is marketing jargin with a lot of dash cams, but the quality is good enough given the standard quality of dashcams.
