Could be your audio settings if you are on Xbox you will need to press the x on your remote and go to your party if you are in one and press on the options audio and turn up game volume or turn down chat for mixer
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you go into Audio settings for your mic on your xbox one, there should be three scroll bars. On the scroll bar that has a controller on the left, and a headset on the right, try placing the bar near the middle. This should give you good balance between chat and game sound. If the bar is all the way to the right, you will only hear game chat.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't run into that particular problem. If it's xbox then check your game settings (gear icon). You can control the balance of sounds between players sound level and game sound level. As to the headset, in my experience you must check and make sure that the mike is in its whole very snugly. It is a poor fit. Finally on the headset cord there are 2 adjustments. The slider controls the sound coming through the headphones. The other mutes the mike.
