The inline mute function on the RIG 400HX is independent of the source - the mute function cuts the audio within the headset cable. What the cable is plugged into can’t affect whether mute is enabled/disabled. If it’s not working, then the switch is faulty. A:AnswerSo I had the same issue try doing this: go to settings on Xbox then go to devices and connections. Then go to accessories then go to the three dots at the bottom of the screen and the first thing, hit it and update the controller and then it should work :)
