Hi Charlie! Please make sure the microphone is well connected into the headset. Also, please set it up by going to Display and sound > Kinect and devices > Select device and adjust settings. If the mic still doesn't work, please test your headset on a different controller (no 3rd party device) to isolate the cause of the issue. Testing it with your mobile phone or PC can also help to determine where the issue is coming from. Please note this model comes with a one-year warranty from date of purchase.
