I just purchased the system and I really like it. I did not get the cameras, already had them with another system, but if you are thinking about buying I can say they have excellent customer service. At least when I have called them and I understand that they offer a monitoring service and cloud storage for your cameras. I don't know if the cameras communicate with the base or not, but I'm sure if you called their customer service they would be able to answer your question. Good luck and good choice.

But the cameras will not be connected through the base station. You can control multiple Ring devices in the Ring app, though, so you'll only need to go to one source to monitor both the camera and the Ring Alarm system.Nov 24, 2018
