Hi Ringingtheway, Thanks for reaching out. Ring Alarm will periodically check in even when the device is disarmed. Additionally, it is a radio signal in the 900 MHz ISM band. At this time, you are not able to disarm these signals, however, I will relay this request to the rest of my team and, hopefully, this is something that we will incorporate in the near future. Please try again later.I know they still function, even unarmed, because the motion sensor can actually trigger functions in Alexa for you, if you program them to do it, regardless what the ring Alarm status is. I believe they use heat sensing, as opposed to Ultrasound, so you shouldn't be dealing with that. as far as radio signals, I believe it's just 2.4 GHz like you have for your WiFi, but it's built in Z-Wave technology, so you can research that to be certain.
