In my opinion, this should do the job that you want. It illuminates well. It’s not as bright as a flood light would give out, but it’s bright enough to keep the bad guys away.

This would definitely help with your night vision problem, u will definitely need to purchase the “bridge” as well. The bridge connects all ring items. Meaning if your camera turned on this light would turn on automatically with your camera everything will light up at once. (It is a bright light, I have no complaints and easy to install. Same with the bridge) it’s all done through the app.

It puts out a lot of light it should be good,I use it to light up my outside porch it does a great job.
