“I need more light in my backyard on occasion. I don't need the motion sensor option and don't need it to go on when my Ring cameras go on. Can I use this as a light only on my shed and turn on from the Ring app when I need it or do I need the bridge?”

The Ring Bridge is required to enable smart lighting control from anywhere using the Ring app. Without the Ring Bridge, your spotlight functions only as a standard motion-sensing light.
