I would say it really depends on your router more than the ring camera. Mine is about 30 feet and multiple walls between them ant it works perfectly.

If you have another device, such as a cell phone, stand approximately where the Flood Ring wood go, and see how well you’re connected to your router. There are devices you can buy that will extend your routers reach that gets plugged into a wall socket between your router and devices (Flood Ring). I use an Apple Airport router that is located in my basement. I would say it is a good 50’ away with walls, floor and some cement between and our Flood Ring works no problem.
