“The specs on the BB website says it requires 240 volts! Is that for real? I can't imagine a security camera with LED lights requiring that kind of voltage.”

• It can use either 110vac or 240vac. I think the purpose it so cater to all markets in the world. Just remember that power equals voltage times current. Therefore the higher the voltage the least current it requires to output the same power.
