“There are conflicting answers as to whether or not this unit can be hung from an existing, downward facing high hat, and whether or not the lights and camera can be swiveled into the correct position. Does anyone know the height limit of the sensor?”

I have side mounted and face down mounted. Both are working well. The face down is at about 10'. The side mount is about 8'. Both seem to work well. Just make sure your wifi router is close enough. Most of my problems have been around wifi signal strength.
