Very easy to install. its like changing a light fixture. Easy to connect to wifi alsi, they provide a bar code to simplify the connection to the Ring app. Installed within 45 min. Wifi range is also good. not sure how u r inquiring for the range to be, but with the app u can access the camera from out of state. good buy.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends on your electrical skills as it must be connected to a power source directly with wire nuts and not plugged into an outlet. Also, it recommends using an always on outlet which means you’ll need to be able to turn off the circuit breaker before wiring it up. If you don’t feel comfortable doing any of this, then it’s best to have a professional install it. Someone with basic handy skills should be able to with no trouble. WiFi reach is entirely dependent on your router, the placement of devices, and the construction of the building where it will be located because all of those factors go into how far the reach is. It could be 100’ or 10’ depending on what else is around it. Best way to determine is if you don’t have WiFi scanning equipment is to see if you can connect to your network in the area where it will be installed.
