• It is DIY. Very easy to install. You can a friend or family members do it for you.

• You have to call electrical companies they can install for you also look craigslist some times they are cheaper

• Yes. I installed it myself. If you know anyone who can change a light fixture, they should be able to install it for you. Very simple; it fits right over the space the light fixture you just removed, and connects to the existing power wires.
