“Does the floodlight cam have to be installed to an existing floodlight, or can I install it to where a normal outside porch light was?”

• You should be able to replace your porch light with this, but maybe watch the install video(YouTube it) and see if it looks like the brackets look the same. They should be.

If you already have an existing wall-mounted floodlight, you can easily install Floodlight Cam into the existing junction box using the mounting bracket we provide. However, you can install your Floodlight Cam where a normal outside porch light was as long as there is a junction box.
