Does the camera works 24/7 or just when it detect the motion? null

This is my understanding of how this works. The camera can be set to take optional snapshots from every 30 seconds to every 3 minutes and you can also set the parameters for how sensitive it is in capturing video. Keep in mind you also need to have the optional Protect Subscription in order to retrieve the information as the application on your phone has limited storage ability.

I have the Camera hard wired to run all the time & the motion light to turn on when it detects motion.
All my other cameras are Solar & run great.
