“I have the 2 wires I disconnected from my old doorbell. I put a voltage meter on them and got 18 volts. Will that be a safe voltage for this product and the chime Thanks so much”

The Ring Doorbell Battery may be hardwired to existing doorbell wires between 8-24 VAC, 40VA max, 50/60Hz. We recommend confirming the voltage requirement for your existing doorbell chime.
