Clarity and distance are better than I thought it would be. But it is not like a Doorbell ring where the person is closer to the camera.

The distance that your Ring Spotlight Cam Plus can see will be dependent on a number of factors, including the mounting location and surrounding environment. When installing, rotate the camera to focus on the area of your choice. You can look at Live View in the Ring app to make sure it’s positioned at your desired angle.
