Hi FrankL. Great question! Batteries in Ring devices are designed to go months between charges under normal conditions. However, real battery life is dependent on a number of factors, such as local weather, the number of events captured, and the frequency of activation. You only need one battery for your Spotlight Cam to work properly. However, if you want extended battery life or don't want to experience any downtime charging the battery, a second battery is available for purchase. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.averages about 2 wks, depends on how you set the motion detectors
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just got my camera and hooked it up. The store told me that the camera came fully charged so I didn’t charge it. I only use it to make sure my injured horse does not lie down during the night. I started about 7:30 pm last night and by three pm today it said I only had 20% left. I took off the motion sensor and am fully charging a second battery I bought. Should this alleviate the rapid battery usage?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure but I would guess every 3-4 months
